Responsible for service delivery to offenders under his/her supervision within departmental and statutory guidelines.  Supervise and broker adult offenders that are placed on probation.  Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree in related field; must pass the State Police firearms training course.  Candidates with demonstrated experience/training in firearms and surveillance techniques will be preferred.  The successful applicant is expected to purchase a firearm and related accessories at his/her own expense.  Starting date to be determined.

Supervise adult male and female Sex Offender probationers Program Officer on a case load.  Duties include:  Supervision, counseling, and community brokering; maintaining records; providing reports and information to the Criminal Court.  Perform casework services that include weekly record checks, employment verification on a weekly basis, and surveillance capability through day, night, weekend work hours and telephone contacts.  Participates in conferences to evaluate defendant's progress and appropriateness of changes in phases of supervision.  Performs pre-sentence investigation and participates in screening conferences to determine offender acceptability for program inclusion.  Minimum qualifications include:  Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree, preferably in criminal justice, social work, or education.  Masters Degree preferred.  Previous work with Sex Offenders and Specialized Training regarding this population preferred.
