American Recovery and Reinvestment Act Programs

ARRA Logo

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) represents an unprecedented effort to jumpstart the nation’s economy, create and save millions of jobs, and address a wide array of challenges. Much of the stimulus funding provided under ARRA will be administered by states and local governments. Kane County is the recipient of ARRA funding from several Federal agencies for activities ranging from infrastructure improvements to energy conservation initiatives. This website is intended to provide residents with information about ARRA-funded activities in Kane County. In order to understand the full impact of the stimulus bill, residents are encouraged to consult Federal, State, and Municipal websites for information about other ARRA-funded activities. Links to those sites are provided here. Programs managed by Kane County are noted below. If you have questions regarding any of these programs, contact information is available through each of the links. Thank you for taking time to visit this site. We hope you find it both helpful and informative.
