Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant – Stimulus Funds

Kane County will put the funds received through the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant program to work under a number of new and existing initiatives. The programs supported with Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant funds will create jobs as well as lead to long-term energy and financial savings to Kane County and its partners.

Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant funds will support several initiatives including energy efficiency improvements to facilities, updating of countywide energy plans, traffic congestion mitigation projects, and training for building professionals in energy efficiency topics.
