During the past decade there has been an increase of over 100,000 in Kane county population. We are all concerned with the impact of growth upon our county infrastructure and resources. Population growth also affects the size of county government as we respond to the needs of our citizens. For fiscal year 2009 our balanced budget is $274.8 million for revenues and expenditures.
Kane County government is becoming more transparent in order to satisfy the information needs of our citizens. As your independently elected County Auditor, I was elected to serve the citizens of Kane County.
