Small Cities Grant Program 
 

Mission:

The Kane County Small Cities Grant Program (SCGP), was first established in 1998, and later amended in 2005 by the Kane County Board, as recommended by the Kane County Economic Development Advisory Board, to provide funding for a wide variety of economic development initiatives, from bricks and mortar, physical improvements to planning studies and analytical reports intended to created a better understanding of and ultimately suggest means to enhance a community or regional economic development climate.  Urban and rural communities with a population of 50,000 or less throughout Kane County are eligible to receive funding under the Small Cities Grant Program.
