Building Management Department

The Building Management Department oversees the operation and management of over 1 million sq. ft. of the County's buildings and grounds. Managing the custodial services, waste removal, snow removal & grounds maintenance. Operation of building heating, air conditioning systems, and the energy management systems. Coordinates construction projects and provides long-term planning for county owned facilities; provides facilities infrastructure and systems maintenance and repairs and remodeling. Works with contractors and consultants regarding facilities, systems and equipment; provides janitorial services; contracts for facility maintenance and repair services. Facilities Management implements energy conservation initiatives and projects to reduce utility costs of county owned buildings, upgrades to improve building conditions while minimizing impact on the environment.
