Kane County Electric Aggregation Rates

Beginning August 2021, a new contract with Eligo Energy will go into effect. The rate will track the ComEd rate exactly for 24 months to August 2023. The annualized ComEd base rate for the Energy Year June 1, 2021 to May 30, 2022 is 7.127¢ per kWh. The ComEd rate (and rate for the County program with Eligo) also includes a monthly variable called the Purchased Electricity Adjustment (PEA). In the program with Eligo, residents and small businesses enrolled in the aggregation program will always pay exactly the ComEd rate, including ComEd’s variable PEA.
