Rain Barrels for Sale

Kane County is partnering with The Conservation Foundation to provide affordable Compost Bins and Rain Barrels through a special time-limited program this spring.

  • Cost: Rain Barrels are $60 each and the Compost Bins are $55 each.​


The Conservation Foundation

The Conservation Foundation sells rain barrels year-round through their partnership with Upcycle Products, Inc. The 55 gallon rain barrels are made of recycled food-grade plastic, come in a variety of colors and can be purchased online for $60 (plus tax). Home delivery is available for $18.50 more. ​See here for the brochure.

[ $75 ] Black or Terra cotta

Each holds 55 to 60 gallons of rain.
Made from food grade plastic and are recycled olive barrels from Spain, Greece, Portugal and/or Italy
Barrels come with screw-on lid, screen mesh to keep out mosquitoes and debris, drain plug, spigot, and overflow.
Because the barrels are recycled from a previous use they have blemishes and character lines.
